CONTROLLED WORKFLOW

A clear route through the environment.

The physical setting supports a disciplined sequence from entry and preparation through precision assembly, inspection and records.

Quality management, component instructions, inspection criteria and qualification requirements are defined for each programme.

THE WORK SETTING

Four connected zones, one controlled method.

Controlled entry

Gowning and entry routines establish the cleanroom boundary.

Material preparation

Materials and supporting parts move into a defined work sequence.

Precision assembly

Component preparation and hand sewing follow controlled instructions.

Inspection and records

Checks and records close the work before a component leaves the process.

PREPARING FOR A COMPONENT

Set up the work around the part.

The operational cleanroom provides the setting. Each new component still needs a review of its workstation, tools, material handling and inspection needs.

This review includes how a fixture holds the part during sewing, where the operator needs a clear view, and which checks need magnification or measurement tools. The team also defines how materials are identified and how partly assembled pieces are protected as they move between steps.

Instructions and training need to match that setup. Trial work then gives the device manufacturer a basis to assess the method, the samples and the records. Special equipment, packaging and qualification needs are agreed for the programme.

THE WORK INSIDE

Control creates the conditions for craft.

The environment supports the work. Trained hands, defined instructions and inspection bring the component through each agreed stage.
