Quick answer
A ready transfer package explains both the required component and the method that makes it. Its drawings, instructions, tools, training and checks must agree.
Scope of this guide: This guide helps teams find gaps before local development or pilot planning. It does not prove that a transfer, supplier or process is qualified or approved.

Which five parts should connect?
The drawing defines the component. The work instruction defines the sequence. Tooling information defines how the part is held and handled.
Training records define demonstrated skill. Acceptance criteria define how the result is judged. A change in one part may require a review of the others.
How do you capture practical knowledge?
Written instructions should name critical orientation, preparation, sewing, handling and inspection details. A live demonstration can reveal details that experienced people perform without thinking.
Record questions and agreed updates from each transfer session. Keep the design owner involved when local tools or teaching methods need adjustment.
What does local readiness mean?
Define the materials, tools, trained people, inspection methods and records needed before sample work. Then define what evidence the customer plans to review.
ISO 13485 gives quality-management context. It does not prove that a specific transfer is complete. Transfer and qualification decisions remain programme-specific.

- Usable preparation, positioning, assembly and handling steps.
- Fixture, tool and workstation requirements.
- Training content, assessment criteria and task scope.
- Practical visual and dimensional inspection methods.
